Onsernone is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the beautiful canton of Ticino in Switzerland. It's part of the Locarno area.
This municipality is known for its stunning natural beauty, especially the Onsernone valley. The valley is a great place for exploring and enjoying the outdoors.
How Onsernone Was Formed

Later, in 2016, Onsernone grew even bigger. Four more municipalities merged into it. These were Vergeletto, Gresso, Mosogno, and Isorno. This made Onsernone the larger municipality it is today.
