Geography of Orient
Orient covers a total area of about 37.67 square miles (97.56 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 35.52 square miles (92.00 square kilometers), is land. The rest, about 2.15 square miles (5.57 square kilometers), is water.
The town shares its borders with several other places. To the north, you'll find the town of Amity. To the south is Weston. On the west side, it borders Haynesville. To the east, Orient is next to the Saint Croix River. This river also forms a border with North Lake, New Brunswick, which is in Canada. The Orient–Fosterville Border Crossing connects these two areas.
