In 2020, the city had a population of 8,452 people. Orrville is well-known as the main office for The J.M. Smucker Company. This American food and beverage company is famous for its delicious jellies and jams.

History of Orrville
Orrville was first planned out in 1852. It was named after Judge Smith Orr, who owned the land where the city was built. A post office also started operating in Orrville in 1852.
