Osnabrock is a small city located in Cavalier County, North Dakota, in the United States. In 2020, about 105 people lived there. The city was started in 1882 and became an official village in 1903.
Osnabrock got its name from Osnabruck, Ontario. This was the hometown of James T. Anderson, who was the first postmaster in Osnabrock. Osnabruck itself was named after a city called Osnabrück in Germany. People who live in Osnabrock often call it "Oz" for short. Some of its streets have fun names like "Yellow Brick Road," "Wizard Street," "Cyclone Street," and "Emerald Street."
