About PDX Sliders
PDX Sliders is a restaurant chain found in Portland. It offers a variety of tasty food options for everyone.
What's on the Menu?
The menu at PDX Sliders offers tasty mini-sandwiches called sliders. They also have bigger, full-size burgers. You can choose from chicken, pork, or veggie options for your burger. They also serve fresh salads and delicious loaded fries.
A fun fact about their sandwiches is that they are named after famous Portland bridges and streets. For example, the "Hawthorne" slider comes with bacon, goat cheese, and strawberry preserves on a soft brioche bun. The "Burlington" slider features pecan-smoked pork. Another popular choice is the "Sellwood" slider. It has a beef patty, cheddar cheese from Beecher's Handmade Cheese, bacon, sweet caramelized onions, crisp butter lettuce, and creamy aioli, all served on brioche.
The Story of PDX Sliders
PDX Sliders began its journey as a small food cart. It was started by Ryan Rollins in 2014.
From Food Cart to Restaurant
The business grew quickly from its food cart beginnings. PDX Sliders opened its first permanent restaurant location on January 21, 2017. This restaurant is located on Bybee Boulevard in the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood of southeast Portland.
Later that year, in October, Ryan Rollins shared plans to open a second spot. This new restaurant was planned for Division Street in the Richmond neighborhood. It opened its doors on December 8, 2017. This new location could seat about 45 people. By September 2019, there were already plans for a third PDX Sliders location.
