Palin is a beautiful hill station in Arunachal Pradesh, India. It is the main town, or headquarters, of the Kra Daadi district. The area is home to the Nyishi tribe, one of the largest groups in Arunachal Pradesh. In 2001, about 5,816 people lived in Palin. A person called Balo Raja is the current MLA (Member of Legislative Assembly) for the Palin area.

Some of the major clans include Byabang, Dolang, Nangbia, Takam, Techi, Taring, Charu, Balo, Patey, Tarh, Techi, Taku, Khyoda, and Dohu, among others.

Palin is located in the western part of Arunachal Pradesh. The District Highway connects Palin to the rest of the state. You can find regular bus services and shared taxis (Tata Sumo services) from Itanagar and Ziro to reach Palin.
