Paliseul (pronounced "pah-lee-SOOL") is a small town, also called a municipality, in Belgium. It is located in the Wallonia region, which is where people mostly speak French. Paliseul is part of the province of Luxembourg.
On January 1, 2007, about 5,055 people lived in Paliseul. The municipality covers an area of about 113 square kilometers (about 44 square miles). This means there were about 45 people living in each square kilometer.
