Palladium is an English Pop Rock band. They started making music together in September 2006.
The band has four members: Peter, Rufio, Fez, and Rocky. They all met while playing music for other artists on different tours. Their first show together was under the name "The Peppernotes." They even dressed up in fun costumes for the gig!
After that, they changed their name to Palladium. They soon played alongside famous artists like Amy Winehouse and Mika. They also toured with The Thrills.
Signing with Virgin Records
Palladium quickly caught the attention of Virgin Records. They signed a record deal while they were on tour in Japan. This was a big step for the band!
Through their exciting live shows, Palladium gained many fans. Some of their famous supporters include Amy Winehouse, Mystery Jets, and Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly.
Music Releases
Palladium released their first song, called "Happy Hour," on July 23, 2007. This was their debut single.
They also recorded their first album, named The Way It's Not. They worked with a well-known producer named Tony Hoffer. He has also worked with bands like The Kooks and The Fratellis. The album was first planned for release in January 2008. It was later expected to come out on March 17, 2008.
In late 2007, Palladium was chosen to be the main opening act for Mika's tour in the UK.
