The Police was a very famous rock band from England. They mixed different music styles like jazz, punk, and reggae. By 2008, The Police had sold over 40 million records around the world. They were one of the most successful bands ever.
The Police were known for using reggae music in a big way. This made their sound unique, like another famous band called The Clash.
