Paloma Creek is a large, specially planned community in Denton County, Texas. It's called a master-planned community because it was designed from scratch. The community is split into two main parts: "Paloma Creek" (also known as Paloma Creek North) and "Paloma Creek South." These two parts are separated by a major road called U.S. Highway 380.
In 2010, the Paloma Creek North area had about 2,500 people. Paloma Creek South had about 2,750 people. However, the community's homeowners' association (HOA) now estimates that around 20,000 people live in Paloma Creek as of 2022.

About Paloma Creek
Paloma Creek was built by a company from Dallas. It covers a huge area of about 1,200 acres (4.9 square kilometers). The community is located in an area that isn't part of any city. Instead, it's managed by special groups called Fresh Water Supply Districts. These districts help provide services like water.
Most of the 5,600 homes in Paloma Creek are within these special districts. Homes north of Highway 380 have Aubrey mailing addresses. Homes in South Paloma Creek have Little Elm mailing addresses.
The community has grown very quickly. This is partly because it's close to major roads like US Route 380, the Dallas North Tollway, and the Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge. These roads make it easy for people to travel to other places for work or fun.
The first homes in Paloma Creek were finished in 2005. When the community is fully built, it will have 5,600 homes. Many different builders have helped construct these homes.
Paloma Creek is divided into these main sections:
- Paloma Creek North - This part has about 900 homes. It's the area officially known as the "Paloma Creek" census-designated place.
- Paloma Creek South - This larger part has about 4,700 homes.
