Panorama is a suburb found in the beautiful city of Adelaide, South Australia. It is part of the City of Mitcham area.
A Look at Panorama's Past
Panorama has an interesting story behind its name. It was first called "Spring Hill". This name came from a natural spring located in the hills nearby.
However, people living in a different area called "Springfield" found this very confusing. The names were too similar! To fix this, the name was changed to Panorama. This new name perfectly describes the wide, beautiful views you can see from the area.
The local Post Office in Panorama opened its doors on 1 August 1947. Years later, in 1982, its name was changed to Pasadena.
