Patty Hou (Chinese: 侯佩岑; pinyin: Hóu Pèicén; born on December 20, 1977) is a famous person from Taiwan. She is known for being a journalist and a news anchor. A news anchor is someone who reads the news on TV. Patty has also hosted many entertainment shows and even written a book called Patty's About Love.

Patty Hou's Career Journey
Patty Hou was born in Taipei, which is the capital city of Taiwan. She went to the University of Southern California where she studied mass communications and psychology. These subjects helped her learn about how media works and how people think.
Early Days as a News Anchor
Before becoming a big star, Patty worked as a news anchor for several TV channels in Taiwan. She read the news for TTV, Era News, and CTi. In 2004, she decided to try something new and moved into the entertainment world.
Hosting and Spokesperson Roles
Patty continued to be very busy. She became an anchor for "Entertainment in Asia" on Azio TV, where she shared entertainment news every weekday. She also reported on fashion news for Eranews on Saturdays.
Besides her TV work, Patty became a spokesperson for DHC cosmetics. A spokesperson is someone who represents a company or product and helps promote it. She also hosted big events like the Star Awards in Singapore, which celebrates Chinese television, and a concert called Huaren • Night in Phoenix City Concert in 2009. She still hosts her weekly show, "Entertainment Asia."
