Paul Konrad Müller (born March 11, 1923 – died September 2, 2016) was an actor from Switzerland. He was famous for appearing in many Italian films. His acting career in Europe lasted for 51 years.

Paul Muller's Acting Career
Early Theatre Work
Paul Muller started studying acting in Paris, France, in 1941. He went to a famous school called the "Conservatoire National Supérieur d`Art Dramatique." Until 1944, he performed in different theatres in Paris. Some of these included the "Theatre Pigalle" and "Salle Pleyel."
From 1944 to 1946, Paul served in the French Army. He was stationed in French Indochina. During this time, he got malaria, a serious illness. Because of this illness, his hearing was affected, and he became hard of hearing.
After his military service, from 1947 to 1948, he continued acting. He performed in theatres and with touring groups. He worked in France, parts of Germany, and in Florence, Italy. His first movie role came when he was 25 years old. It was in a film called Ruy Blas in 1948.

Paul Muller acted in more than 230 movies. His first film role was in 1948. He spent most of his life living and working in Italy.
He worked for over 60 years in the film industry. He acted alongside many well-known European actors and actresses. He also worked with famous Italian directors. These included Roberto Rossellini, Federico Fellini, and Mario Bava. He also appeared in films directed by René Clément and Michael Curtiz. One director, Jesús Franco, cast him in 18 different movies!
Later Life and Death
Paul Muller passed away in Tivoli, Lazio, Italy, on September 2, 2016. He was 93 years old.

Awards and Recognition
In 2009, a German film company released a special DVD set. It featured the movie I Vampiri (also known as Der Vampir von Notre-Dame). This movie was directed by Mario Bava and Ricardo Freda. The DVD set included different versions of this film. It was one of the first Italian horror movies with sound.
The DVD set also had a special interview with Paul Muller. It was called "C'est la Vie – Paul Muller erzählt." This was the only interview of him ever recorded on screen. The DVD was made to honor Paul Muller. It celebrated his amazing work in the European film industry.
