In 2020, about 5,264 people lived here. You can find famous places nearby, like FedExField stadium. The Washington Metro's Blue Line also has a stop close by. There's also the Hampton Mall for shopping.
Since it's not a formal town, Peppermill Village doesn't have official borders. However, the United States Census Bureau created a special area called a "census-designated place" (CDP). Where is Peppermill Village?
The community is surrounded by other areas. To the west and north, you'll find the city of Seat Pleasant. The Summerfield community is to the north and east. To the south is the Walker Mill community.
Community Borders
Peppermill Village has clear boundaries. Hill Road is to the east, and Carmody Hills Drive is to the west. Seat Pleasant Drive forms the northern border. To the south, you'll find Maryland Route 214, also known as Central Avenue. This road connects to East Capitol Street in Washington, D.C. to the west. To the east, it links up with the Capital Beltway and the town of Largo.
