Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters is an exciting fantasy movie. It came out on August 7, 2013. This film is based on the second book in the popular Percy Jackson & the Olympians series, called The Sea of Monsters. It's also a follow-up to the first movie, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.

The Story of the Sea of Monsters

The movie's story begins with a big problem at Camp Half-Blood. A magical pine tree, which protects the camp, gets poisoned. This tree is connected to a hero named Thalia Grace.

To save the tree and their home, Percy Jackson and his friends must go on a dangerous quest. He teams up with Annabeth Chase, Grover Underwood, and his half-brother, Tyson. Tyson is a friendly Cyclops.

Their mission is to find the legendary Golden Fleece. This magical item has the power to heal anything, even a poisoned tree. They hope it can save Thalia's tree and protect Camp Half-Blood.

However, they are not the only ones looking for the Fleece. Luke Castellan, a powerful enemy, also wants it. Luke plans to use the Fleece for a dark purpose: to bring back the evil Titan lord, Kronos. This makes Percy's quest even more urgent and dangerous.
