Percy the Park Keeper is a fun British animated TV show for kids. It is based on the popular books by Nick Butterworth. The series follows Percy, a kind park keeper, and his many animal friends. These friends include a Badger, an Owl, a Fox, Mice, a Mole, and a Robin.
The show first aired as four special episodes between December 1996 and December 1997. Later, in September 1999, it became a full series with thirteen ten-minute episodes. You could also find the show on VHS tapes in the UK.

It is Winter. Percy gets ready for a very cold night. The animals find it hard to find shelter in the snow. They all decide to stay in Percy's warm hut. Mole and Robin arrive last, making the hut very crowded.

It is Summer. Percy is enjoying a picnic on a hot day. Everyone wants to join him. A girl rabbit falls into an old well. A friendly toad tells her how to escape. Percy and the animals try to pull her out with a rope. They accidentally pull out an oak branch instead.

It is Autumn. A big storm damages the park and the animals' oak tree home. Percy helps them find a new home. They build a treehouse in a huge hollow tree.

Fox is cold and cannot sleep. He borrows many of Percy's woolen clothes. Percy uses the extra clothes for his scarecrow. Fox is left with just a pullover, which keeps him warm.

Rabbit is scared of the dark. The other animals do not know why. Percy realizes she has not eaten enough carrots. After eating more carrots, she can see in the dark and is no longer afraid.

Percy catches a cold. Owl offers to help with chores like making a rake and painting. But Owl forgets things easily and mixes up all the tasks.
