Peruque Creek is a stream located in Missouri, United States. It flows through parts of St. Charles and Warren counties. This creek is an important waterway because it eventually flows into the mighty Mississippi River.

Where Peruque Creek Flows

Peruque Creek begins its journey about three miles east of a town called Warrenton. From there, it flows east and then northeast, passing by towns like Wright City. Soon, it enters St. Charles County, near Foristell.

The creek then flows alongside Interstate 70, a big highway, as it goes past Wentzville. It even goes under US Route 61 and flows into the beautiful Lake St. Louis. After the dam at the lake, the creek turns north, crosses under Interstate 70 again, and then heads east, flowing north of O'Fallon.

Finally, Peruque Creek turns northeast and passes under Missouri Route 79. It continues southeast of the old community of Firma before joining the Mississippi River. The meeting point is northwest of the small village of Peruque.
