Peter Beier Chokolade, often called Peter Beier, is a Danish company that makes delicious, high-quality chocolate. It was started in 1996 by Linda and Peter Beier. Their main office is at the Ørsholt estate, which is near Helsingør in Denmark.

A Sweet History: How Peter Beier Chokolade Began
Peter Beier was born in Slangerup, Denmark, in 1965. He learned to be a pastry chef in 1985. Later, he led the chocolate section at a big department store called Magasin du Nord starting in 1987.
Linda Beier, his wife, studied law at the University of Copenhagen. Together, they decided to create their own chocolate company, Peter Beier Chokolade, in 1996.
The very first Peter Beier chocolate shop opened in Copenhagen in the year 2000. A few years later, in 2002, they opened their first shop that was both a café and a chocolate store in Frederiksberg.
In 2003, the company did something special. They bought their own cocoa farm in the Dominican Republic. This helped them control how their chocolate was made, right from the cocoa bean!
Between 2003 and 2014, Peter Beier Chokolade opened 11 more stores. Their first store outside Denmark opened in Malmö, Sweden. Then, in 2016, they even opened a store in Dubai!

Peter Beier Chokolade makes many different kinds of sweet treats. Their products include:

As of 2015, Peter Beier Chokolade had 19 chocolate stores. Some of these are "shop-in-shop" locations inside Meny supermarkets. You can also buy their chocolates from their online store.
Since 2021, they also sell homemade scooped ice cream. They have many flavors to choose from! They also offer soft-serve ice cream, with raspberry, vanilla, or a mix of both.

Cozy Chocolate Lounges
Peter Beier also has special "chocolate lounges." These are cozy places where you can relax and enjoy chocolate treats. Currently, there are two chocolate lounges in Copenhagen.
In 2016, the company announced plans to open a new chocolate lounge in Axel Towers. This new spot will even make chocolate on-site and have a café. It will be located across from the main entrance to Tivoli Gardens.
