Early Life and Music Start
Pip Millett was born in Manchester, England. Growing up, she listened to music from artists like Joni Mitchell and Bobby Womack. She started learning to play the guitar and sang in choirs when she was young. By the age of 14, she focused on playing the bass guitar and electric guitar. She has said that famous musicians like Lauryn Hill, Joni Mitchell, and Bob Marley were her biggest inspirations.
At first, Pip thought about a career in fashion. But while she was at university in London, she decided to focus on music instead. A producer and DJ named Joe Hertz heard a song she had recorded. He liked her voice so much that he asked her to sing on his song "Goodbye Kisses" in 2017.

First Songs and EPs (2018-2020)
In May 2018, Pip Millett released her first solo song, "Make Me Cry." It was released by an independent record label called + FOURS. This song became very popular, getting millions of listens on Spotify. A video of her performing the song on A COLORS SHOW in April 2019 has been watched over five million times. After this, she released more songs like "Love The Things You Do." She also worked with other producers on songs like "Run Away" and "Get To Know You."
While still studying, she continued to release new music in 2019. She even covered the song "Try a Little Tenderness," which was streamed over 10 million times on Spotify. After finishing her degree, she released her first collection of songs, called an EP, titled Do Well in June 2019. This EP had four songs.

Recent Music and Tours (2021-Present)
On August 13, 2021, Pip Millett released her third EP, Motion Sick. This EP included a song called "Running," which featured the artist Ghetts.
As the pandemic eased, Pip returned to the stage to support her new EP. She sold out a series of concerts across the UK in October 2021. She also appeared on the TV show Later... with Jools Holland on October 23. In December, BBC Radio 1Xtra named Pip as one of their "Hot For 2022" artists, meaning they expected her to be very popular.
She continued her tours into 2022, including a sold-out show at Islington Assembly Hall on January 12. In 2022, she also released her album When Everything Is Better, I'll Let You Know.
