Piranshahr facts for kids
Piranshahr (Persian: پیرانشهر) is a city in northwest of Iran. The people of Piranshahr are mostly Kurds who consider themselves to be descendants of the Medes, one of the three Aryan tribes who migrated to Iran. Piranshahr is the capital of Mokrian district. Piranshahr have a population of 2 millions persons.
