The Story of Pisgah
Pisgah was started in 1899. Its name comes from the Bible. People from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also known as Mormons, chose the name. They had a temporary settlement nearby and named a hill there Mount Pisgah. A post office opened in Pisgah in 1902, helping the community grow.
