Pitt & Kantrop is an exciting animated TV show for kids! It was made in the United Kingdom and shown on channels like BBC One and CBBC. The story follows a brave 13-year-old boy named Pitt and his amazing pet, Kantrop, a pterodactyl. They live in the Stone Age and go on awesome adventures. Together, they help their tribe solve problems and discover new things. The show was created by the same people who made Watch My Chops.

Did you know? The show's title in French, Pitt et Kantrop, is a clever play on words. It sounds like "pithecanthropus," which is a scientific name for early humans!

Meet the Pittec Tribe!

The Pittec tribe is full of unique characters who live in the Stone Age. Here are some of the main people and creatures you'll meet:

Main Characters

  • Pitt: Pitt is a super smart and creative boy. He loves coming up with new ideas and inventions to help his tribe. He always tries to do what's fair and right. Pitt relies a lot on his best friend, Kantrop, to help him.
  • Kantrop: Kantrop is Pitt's loyal pet pterodactyl. He's the very last of his kind and the first wild animal ever to be a pet! Kantrop helps Pitt with many tasks and is always there for him.

Tribe Members

  • Drosera: Drosera is Chief Sariac's wife. She can be a bit bossy and sometimes thinks Pitt's new ideas are a threat. Even so, she once thanked Pitt for saving her life!
  • Sariac: Chief Sariac is the strongest man in the tribe and their leader. He worries a lot about his position and sometimes doesn't trust others. But deep down, he cares a lot about his tribe and family.
  • Vegas and Atlas: These two are strong and brave hunters. They always follow Chief Sariac's orders, even if they aren't the smartest guys around!
  • Mandas: Mandas is Pitt's cousin. He's a young hunter who dreams of a great future. He's always trying to impress Deena and hopes to marry her one day.
  • Deena: Deena is Chief Sariac's daughter. She's an amazing hunter and fighter who wants to become the next Chief. She secretly likes Pitt, and this is shown in the episode "The End is Nigh" when she kisses him on the cheek!
  • Prosper: Prosper is the tribe's shaman and the oldest member. The tribe believes he has special powers and always listens to his advice, even if it's not always the best!
  • Liane: Liane is Pitt's mom. She loves to complain, and her hut is the messiest! But she truly believes her family is her greatest achievement.
  • Stef: Stef is Pitt's dad. He's not the bravest hunter and often runs away from danger. But he's kind and gentle and secretly very proud of his fearless son.
  • Grenella: Aunt Grenella's biggest goal is to find a husband. She can get jealous easily and loves to gossip, but she's not as mean as she seems.
