Exploring Pleasant Valley's Location
Pleasant Valley CDP is found in the southwestern part of the town of Pleasant Valley. Its exact location is 41°44′42″N 73°49′24″W / 41.74500°N 73.82333°W. A stream called Wappinger Creek flows right through the middle of the community. This creek eventually flows into the Hudson River.
Getting Around Pleasant Valley
U.S. Route 44 is a main road that goes through Pleasant Valley. It is known as Main Street here. If you travel southwest on this road, you will reach Poughkeepsie in about 7 miles (11 km). Going northeast for about 8 miles (13 km) will take you to Millbrook.
