Pleasantville is found in the northwestern part of Bedford County. It sits at the northern end of a place called Chestnut Ridge.
How to Get Around Pleasantville
Pennsylvania Route 56 goes right through the borough. This road can take you southeast about 14 miles (23 km) to Bedford. Bedford is the main town of the county. If you go northwest on Route 56, you'll travel over the Allegheny Front about 24 miles (39 km) to Johnstown. Another road, Pennsylvania Route 96, goes south from Pleasantville for about 10 miles (16 km) to Schellsburg.
