How to Play the Game
In Pokémon Puzzle Challenge, your main goal is to clear blocks. These blocks keep coming down from the top of the screen. To make them disappear, you need to line up three or more blocks of the same kind. You can do this by moving them into horizontal (side-to-side) or vertical (up-and-down) lines.
Keeping the Playfield Clear
As you play, new blocks will appear, and the whole playfield will slowly move upwards. If the blocks reach the very top of the screen, the game ends! To stop the playfield from rising, you need to clear blocks quickly. The more lines you clear at once, the higher your score will be. Try to make big combos for lots of points!
Game Modes and Characters
The game offers different ways to play. You can choose from three main modes:
- Single-player: Play by yourself and challenge the game's computer.
- Multi-player: Play against a friend using a link cable.
- Training: Practice your skills without the pressure of the main game.
You can also play as many different Pokémon characters from the Pokémon Gold and Silver games. Some of these include famous Pokémon like Pikachu, Cyndaquil, and Totodile. As you win battles against other Pokémon trainers in the game, you can unlock even more Pokémon to play with!
