Popples is a fun animated TV show for kids. It is based on the popular Popples toy line. The show was made by Saban Brands and Zagtoon.

The series follows the exciting adventures of five best friends. Their names are Bubbles, Sunny, Lulu, Izzy, and Yikes. This show is an original series you can watch on Netflix. Before this version, there was another Popples TV show in 1986.

On May 1, 2018, the company Hasbro bought the Popples brand from Saban Brands. The show also started airing on regular TV on Discovery Family on July 1, 2019.

Meet the Popples: What They Do

Popples are special creatures that can roll themselves into a ball. Then, they can "pop" back out again! This makes them super unique and fun.

The story is all about the "Best Popple Pals" (BPPs). These friends are Bubbles, Sunny, Lulu, Izzy, and Yikes. They are always happy and love to help everyone. They try to help their friends, neighbors, and each other.

Sometimes, their plans to help go a little wrong. This often leads to funny mix-ups and chaos! The Popples then spend the rest of the episode trying to fix the problems they caused. But don't worry, they always find a way to save the day in their own "POP-tastic" style!

Popples Toys and Merchandise

Saban Brands used to have the special rights to the Popples characters. They worked with a company called Spin Master to sell Popples toys from 2016 to 2018.

Just like the original toys from the 1980s, these new Popples toys could also roll up into a ball. Then, they would "pop" back out, just like in the TV show!
