Pressiat was once a small town, known as a commune, located in eastern France. It was part of the Ain department.
On January 1, 2016, Pressiat joined with other nearby towns. It became part of a new, larger commune called Val-Revermont. This means Pressiat is no longer a separate commune on its own.
