A Look Back at Pricetown's History

Pricetown was officially planned out on April 13, 1847. A group of people named Elijah, David, and Jane Faris, along with Alexander Murphy, helped create its layout. They named the community after Judge J.W. Price, who was a judge from a nearby town called Hillsboro. Today, Pricetown gets its mail service from the town of Lynchburg. You can find this community along State Route 131. It is also close to where the Oak Creek stream begins.
