The Prime Minister of Equatorial Guinea is an important leader in the country. Equatorial Guinea is a nation located in the Gulf of Guinea in Central Africa. The Prime Minister works as part of the Council of Ministers. This group helps run the government and is led by the President.
The first person to hold a similar role was Bonifacio Ondó Edu. He became Prime Minister of what was then called Spanish Guinea on December 15, 1963. Today, the Prime Minister is Manuel Osa Nsue Nsua, who started his role on August 17, 2024.
