About Quaker Lake

Quaker Lake was built in the 1960s. It was created as part of a bigger project that involved building the Kinzua Dam. The lake helps manage water flow in the area.

Water Flow

Water from Quaker Lake flows out through a special channel called a spillway. This spillway goes across Route 280. The water then empties into the Allegheny Reservoir.
