Quebrada Negrito is a neighborhood, also called a barrio, located in the town of Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico. In 2010, about 5,610 people lived there. This neighborhood was officially created in 1899.
History of Quebrada Negrito
Puerto Rico became a part of the United States after the Spanish–American War. This happened because of the Treaty of Paris of 1898 in 1898. Puerto Rico then became an unincorporated territory of the U.S.
In 1899, the United States government counted the people living in Puerto Rico. They found that Quebrada Negrito and a nearby barrio called La Gloria had 1,487 people living there together.
