Quincy is a small village located in Branch County, Michigan, in the United States. In 2020, about 1,554 people lived there. The village is found along U.S. Route 12, which is a main road. It is part of Quincy Township.

History of Quincy Village
The land where Quincy now stands was first bought in 1830 by Horace Wilson. He bought 360 acres from the government. John Cornish built the first permanent house in 1833. He became the first person to live there all the time.
In 1836, this area became its own township, called Quincy Township. Dr. Hiram Allen suggested the name "Quincy." He had just moved from Quincy, Massachusetts. A post office opened in Quincy on December 16, 1836. The Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railway built a train station here. Quincy officially became a village in 1858.
