Quintessa Swindell (born February 8, 1997) is an American actor. They are known for playing Tabitha Foster in the Netflix show Trinkets. Quintessa also played Maxine Hunkel / Cyclone in the 2022 superhero movie Black Adam. They had a small part as Anna in the HBO series Euphoria.

Starting in Acting
Quintessa Swindell began acting in 2019. Their first role was Anna in the HBO TV series Euphoria. This was in an episode called "The Trials and Tribulations of Trying To Pee While Depressed". In the same year, Swindell got a main role in the Netflix teen drama Trinkets. They played the character Tabitha Foster.
Major Roles in Film and TV
Swindell appeared in the movie Voyagers. This film also starred Colin Farrell and Tye Sheridan. In December 2020, they were chosen to play Cyclone. This was for the DCEU movie Black Adam. Dwayne Johnson played the main character in this film.
In 2021, Quintessa also appeared as Laila in the fourth season of the HBO series In Treatment. More recently, Swindell starred in Master Gardener. In this movie, they acted alongside Joel Edgerton and Sigourney Weaver. They also have a main role as Taylah Sanders in the TV series Prime Target, which started in 2025.

Growing Up and Identity
Quintessa Swindell grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia. They went to high school at the Governor's School for the Arts in Norfolk, Virginia. Swindell was raised by their single father. They identify as nonbinary and use they/he pronouns.
Swindell has shared that it was sometimes hard to find acting roles. This was because they did not always fit typical ideas about gender. However, they were happy to play a girl in Trinkets. This show explored Black identity, which was important to Swindell as they are biracial.
