Winning the Premier League
Quinton Fortune was part of three Premier League winning seasons. These were in 1999–2000, 2000–01, and 2002–03. Players usually need to play 10 games to get a winner's medal. Fortune did not always play that many games. However, he was given a special Premier League winner's medal in 2003. This was because he played nine times in the league that season. He left Manchester United before the 2006–07 season.
Later Club Teams
After leaving Manchester United, Fortune joined Bolton Wanderers. This was for the 2006–07 season. He had a successful trial there.

In the next match, South Africa beat Slovenia 1–0. Fortune helped set up the winning goal in that game. Even though South Africa and Paraguay had the same points and goal difference, Paraguay moved to the next stage. This was because they had scored more goals than South Africa.
