Quitman is found in the southwestern part of Cleburne County. It also stretches southwest into Faulkner County along Arkansas Highway 25. This highway is important for travel.
- Highway 25 goes about 15 miles (24 km) northeast to Heber Springs. Heber Springs is the main city, or county seat, for Cleburne County.
- The highway also goes about 14 miles (23 km) southwest. This leads to U.S. Route 65 just north of Greenbrier.
