Quitman is a small village located in Jackson Parish, Louisiana, United States. In 2020, about 160 people lived there.

Quitman is about 15 miles (24 km) south of a city called Ruston. It is also 9 miles (14 km) north of Jonesboro. Jonesboro is the main town for Jackson Parish. Quitman is also very close to the Jackson Bienville Wildlife Area, which is a place for nature and animals.

Quitman is part of the Ruston area, which is a group of towns and cities that are connected. East of Quitman, you can find the Jimmie Davis Tabernacle. This is a special hall where gospel music meetings are held. Behind the tabernacle, you can visit the graves of former Louisiana Governor Jimmie Davis and his first wife. Jimmie Davis grew up nearby in a community that no longer exists.
