Raheem Edwards' Soccer Journey
Raheem Edwards started his soccer career in League1 Ontario in 2014. He first played for Internacional de Toronto. Later that season, he joined ANB Futbol.
Playing for Toronto FC II
In 2015, Raheem signed his first professional contract. He joined Toronto FC II, which is the reserve team for Toronto FC. He played his first game on March 28 against FC Montreal. Raheem played two full seasons with the team. He scored eight goals and helped set up five others.
Joining Toronto FC's Main Team
In June 2016, Raheem got a chance to play for the main Toronto FC team. He made his first team debut on June 29, 2016. This was during the 2016 Canadian Championship final. He also played his first Major League Soccer game on July 2, 2016. In March 2017, he officially signed a full contract with Toronto FC.
Moving to Montreal Impact
On December 12, 2017, Raheem was chosen by Los Angeles FC in a special draft. However, he was quickly traded to Montreal Impact. This trade also included another player, Jukka Raitala. Raheem played his first game for the Impact in 2018. He scored his first goal for them in the very next game.
Playing for Chicago Fire
On July 17, 2018, Raheem was traded again, this time to the Chicago Fire. He made his debut four days later. In that game, he helped set up a goal against his old team, Toronto FC.
Time with Minnesota United
On February 11, 2020, Raheem moved to another MLS team, Minnesota United FC. He played his first game for them on March 7.
Joining Los Angeles FC
On December 17, 2020, Raheem was picked by Los Angeles FC. After the 2021 season, Los Angeles decided not to keep him. This made him a free agent, meaning he could sign with any team.
Playing for LA Galaxy
On January 7, 2022, Raheem signed a three-year deal with LA Galaxy. He was the first player to move directly from LAFC to their rivals, LA Galaxy. He made his debut on February 27. In that game, he assisted the winning goal.
Returning to CF Montréal
In December 2023, Raheem was traded back to his former club, CF Montréal. At the end of the 2024 season, his contract was not extended, and he became a free agent again.

Senior National Team
