Rancho Viejo is a small town in Cameron County, Texas, in the United States. In 2020, about 2,838 people lived there. This was an increase from 2,437 people in 2010. The town gets its name from an old ranch called "Rancho Viejo," which means "Old Ranch" in Spanish. This ranch used to belong to Blas María de la Garza Falcón. A nearby dam, Falcon Dam, is named after him.

Rancho Viejo is part of a larger area that includes the cities of Brownsville, Harlingen, and Raymondville. It is also near the border with Mexico, close to the city of Matamoros.
