Rashad DeAndre Vaughn (born August 16, 1996) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for Lavrio in the Greek Basketball League (GBL). Before becoming a professional, he played college basketball for the UNLV Runnin' Rebels.

Rashad Vaughn's Basketball Journey
High School Star
Rashad Vaughn started his high school basketball journey at Robbinsdale Cooper High School in New Hope, Minnesota. During his junior year (2012–2013), he was amazing, scoring about 28 points and grabbing 9 rebounds per game!
For his senior year, he moved to Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nevada. There, he continued to shine, averaging 19.9 points and 4.9 assists per game. His great play earned him special honors like being named a McDonald's All-American.
College Days
After high school, many top colleges wanted Rashad to play for them. He chose to play for the UNLV Runnin' Rebels. He only played one season of college basketball, but it was a very successful one.
He was named the Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year. This means he was the best first-year player in his conference! He averaged 17.8 points and 4.8 rebounds in 23 games.

Becoming a Pro
NBA Draft and Milwaukee Bucks
On June 25, 2015, Rashad Vaughn's dream came true. He was picked by the Milwaukee Bucks as the 17th overall player in the 2015 NBA draft. He joined the Bucks for the Summer League and signed his first professional contract.
He made his NBA debut on October 28, 2015, scoring 10 points in a game against the New York Knicks. Sometimes, during his time with the Bucks, he also played for their minor league teams, like the Canton Charge and the Westchester Knicks, to get more playing time and experience.
On October 29, 2016, Rashad had his best game with the Bucks, scoring 22 points and making six three-pointers in a win against the Brooklyn Nets.
Moving to Other NBA Teams
In February 2018, Rashad was traded to the Brooklyn Nets. He played one game for them before being traded again to the New Orleans Pelicans. He was then waived by the Pelicans a couple of days later.
Soon after, he signed a short contract with the Orlando Magic. He played a few games for them before an injury ended his time there.
Playing in the G League
After his time in the NBA, Rashad played for teams in the NBA G League, which is like a development league for the NBA. He played for the Texas Legends and the Delaware Blue Coats.
International Basketball Career
Rashad then started playing basketball in other countries. He played for Igokea in the Adriatic League, averaging 16.5 points per game. He also played for Budućnost before moving to Ukraine.
In Ukraine, he played for Prometey and Dnipro. With Prometey, he helped his team win the Ukrainian League championship in 2021 and was even named the Finals MVP!
After Ukraine, Rashad moved to Greece, where he played for Lavrio in 2022. He then returned to the G League to play for the Cleveland Charge for the 2022–2023 season. In 2023, he went back to Greece to play for Apollon Patras. As of 2024, he is back playing for Lavrio in Greece.
