Adi Ladson (born December 7, 1983), known by his stage name Rayne Storm, is an American rapper and music producer from Harlem, New York. He first got noticed in 2006 with his mixtape Storms Coming.

Since then, Rayne started his own music company, Monopolyhouse. He has released many popular songs and worked with other artists. In 2016, he released an EP called Supreme. It featured artists like Tash (rapper) from the group Tha Alkaholiks. The EP was released again in 2018 with new songs. One new track was inspired by the Marvel movie Black Panther.

Early Life and First Steps in Music

Rayne Storm has an African American and Native American background. He grew up in Harlem, a neighborhood in New York City. He started writing rhymes in high school after a friendly competition with his friends.

As a high school senior, Rayne hosted a TV and radio show for teens. He even won a special award for a TV episode he hosted about the September 11 attacks. On his radio show, he interviewed musicians like Don Yute and Horace Brown.

After high school, Rayne joined a program called Art Start's Hip-Hop Project. This project worked with famous people like Russell Simmons, Bruce Willis, and Queen Latifah. It led to a documentary movie called The Hip Hop Project. Later, he decided to become an independent artist and producer, making music on his own terms.

Rayne Storm's music career took off in 2006 with his first mixtape, Storms Coming. This release helped people start to recognize his talent. He continued to release more mixtapes over the years.

On January 1, 2016, he released his first official EP, Supreme. On December 7, 2020, Rayne released his first full album, Uptown Baby. It was very popular and reached #41 on the Hip-Hop/Rap music charts in Denmark.

His next EP, Summer In The City, came out in 2021. A song from it called "Prolly Me" became a hit in Germany.

Rayne's second album, AudioCity, was released on February 22, 2022. It was a huge success, with over 150,000 streams on Spotify in its first year. The album featured famous rappers like DMC, Sticky Fingaz, and Canibus. It reached #4 on the hip-hop charts in Bahrain and #35 in South Africa.

On November 10, 2023, Rayne released his latest album, Audiocity II. It featured major artists like Cam'ron, Benny The Butcher, and Jadakiss.
