Reginald Badham Lodge (born March 10, 1853, died February 13, 1937) was an amazing English artist. He loved birds and spent his life studying them. He was an ornithologist (someone who studies birds), a photographer, and a painter.

In 1895, Reginald Lodge made history. He received the very first medal ever given for nature photography! This special award came from the Royal Photographic Society. His winning photo showed a Northern lapwing bird sitting on its eggs. Some experts, like Eric Hosking, even thought it was the first photo ever taken of a wild bird.

Reginald had a brother named George Edward Lodge. He was also good with birds, especially as a bird artist and an expert in falconry (training birds of prey). Their father, Samuel Lodge, was a church leader at Lincoln Cathedral. Reginald also had a friend named Oliver G. Pike, and they often went on trips together.
