Reginald Ballard, born on October 13, 1965, is an American actor and comedian from Galveston, Texas. He is well-known for playing special characters on TV shows. You might recognize him as Brother Man from the sitcom Martin or as W.B. from The Bernie Mac Show. Both of these popular shows were shown on the Fox network.
Before becoming an actor, Reginald was a talented football player. He went to Ball High School where he was a top linebacker. His football skills earned him a scholarship to Southern Methodist University. While there, he also studied theater. Later, he transferred to the University of Missouri to continue playing football and acting. He even performed in a university play called A Soldier's Story.

Reginald Ballard's Acting Journey
After college, Reginald Ballard decided to follow his dream of acting instead of playing professional football. He moved to Hollywood and has appeared in many different TV shows.
Early TV Roles and Guest Appearances
Reginald has been a guest star on shows like Veronica Mars, The Parkers, Sister, Sister, and Just Jordan. He also had a role in the short-lived show Crumbs. More recently, he appeared on Raven's Home. He also co-starred in an independent movie called Big Ain't Bad, where he played a character named Butch.
From Football Field to Comedy Stage
Reginald was a very fast linebacker for Ball High School. He helped his team have a great season in 1983. Their defense was one of the best, allowing very few yards per game. After playing football at SMU for three years, he moved to Missouri for his final year of college. He discovered his love for acting after taking a theater class. He enjoyed "getting lost in a scene" and hearing the audience clap.
Today, Reginald Ballard also performs stand-up comedy. He even appeared in Big Sean’s music video for the song "Play No Games". In the video, he played his famous character "Bruh Man" and lip-synced Ty Dolla $ign's part. He will also be lending his voice to a character in the upcoming streaming series Monsters at Work on Disney+.
