The Regional Science Centre, Bhopal (RSCB) is a super cool place in Bhopal, India. It's all about making science and technology fun and easy to understand. This centre especially helps students learn more about the world around them. It's part of the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM). The RSCB first opened its doors on January 12, 1995. The president of India at that time, Shankar Dayal Sharma, officially opened it.
Since 1995, the Centre has worked to make science popular. It helps people think like scientists and encourages everyone to be curious. This is the only Science Centre in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Many people visit, including lots of students from schools and colleges.

Awesome Exhibits and Cool Facilities
The Centre has over 266 science exhibits! Many of these are interactive, meaning you can touch and play with them. The RSCB has a big campus, about 5 acres in size. A large part of this, about 3 acres, is a fun Science Park.
What You Can See in the Science Park
- The Science Park has more than 60 outdoor exhibits.
- You can see how pulleys work.
- There's a real windmill.
- You can also find devices powered by the sun.
- The campus even has a small Dinosaur Park.
- There's also a little zoo to explore.
Indoor Fun and Learning
- The Centre has a large auditorium with 200 seats.
- There's also a smaller conference hall for 25 people. Both are air-conditioned.
- You can watch a 3D Science Show in a special 50-seat hall.
- RSCB has a portable planetarium. It's like a giant inflatable dome where 25 people can watch shows about space.
Science on Wheels: The Mobile Bus
- RSCB has a special Mobile Science Exhibition bus.
- This bus has 24 exhibits inside!
- It travels to small towns and faraway villages in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
- The bus helps teach people about science.
- It shows how to spot fake magic tricks.
- It also plays science films and lets people look at the night sky.
- The bus even hosts educational talks.
