Renae Ingles' Netball Career
Renae Ingles was a key player in netball. She mainly played as a wing-defence or centre. These positions are important for both defending and attacking.
Early Club Years
Renae started her professional journey with the Melbourne Phoenix. She played with them for five seasons. After that, she joined the Melbourne Vixens in 2008. This was when the new ANZ Championships started.
Winning Championships
In 2009, Renae was a very important part of the Melbourne Vixens team. They won their first-ever ANZ Championship title that year. This was a big win for the team.
Moving Teams and Retirement
Renae moved to the Adelaide Thunderbirds for the 2012 and 2013 seasons. She played with them until she first retired in 2017. But she missed the game! She returned to netball in 2018, playing again for the Melbourne Vixens. She was even chosen for the Australian Diamonds squad for the 2018/19 season. Renae officially retired from netball at the end of the 2019 season.

Renae Ingles received many awards for her talent. In 2009, Netball Australia named her the Australian International Player of the Year. She also won this award again in 2013.

In August 2014, Renae shared exciting news on Twitter. She announced she would marry basketball player Joe Ingles. They got married on August 29, 2015, in Adelaide.
Growing Her Family
In January 2016, Renae announced she was expecting twins. She took a break from netball that year to welcome her babies. In May 2020, she shared on Instagram that she was expecting her third child. That child was born later that year. Renae and Joe now have four children.
