Rianxo is a charming port town located in the northwest of Spain. It's part of Galicia, a special region with its own culture and language. Rianxo is in the province of A Coruña.
This town is home to just over 10,000 people. Its two most important jobs are fishing and tourism. Many visitors come to Rianxo, especially for its big yearly party celebrating Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Rianxo is also famous for being the birthplace of several important Galician writers. These include Paio Gómez Chariño, Manuel Antonio, Alfonso R. Castelao, and Rafael Dieste.
