Ricardo Samuel Lucarelli Santos de Souza, born on February 14, 1992, is a famous Brazilian professional volleyball player. He is known as an "outside hitter," which is a key position in volleyball. Ricardo plays for the JTEKT Stings club team and is also a very important part of the Brazilian national team. He won a gold medal at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and also helped Brazil win the 2019 World Cup.

Ricardo Lucarelli's Volleyball Career
Ricardo Lucarelli has had an amazing career in volleyball, playing for top clubs and representing his country. He started playing professionally in 2010 and has achieved many great things since then.
Playing for Club Teams
Ricardo began his club career in 2010 with Minas Tênis Clube. In 2013, he moved to SESI São Paulo. Later, in 2015, he joined the club Funvic Taubaté. He has played for several international clubs, including Itas Trentino and Cucine Lube Civitanova in Italy. Currently, he plays for JTEKT Stings.
Playing for Brazil
Ricardo Lucarelli also played for Brazil's junior national team in 2010. He helped them win a gold medal at the South American Championship. The next year, his team finished fifth in the World Championship.
In 2013, Ricardo won the World Grand Champions Cup with the senior national team. He also earned a gold medal at the South American Championship. That same year, he won a silver medal at the World League. He was even named the Best outside spiker at the World League.
In 2014, Ricardo was a key player when Brazil won a silver medal at the World League 2014 in Florence, Italy. He was again recognized as the Best outside spiker.
A very special moment for Ricardo was in 2016. He was a crucial player for the Brazilian team that won the gold medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. He played in the important final games against Argentina, Russia, and Italy, helping his team secure the gold.
