Rino Nakasone (仲宗根 梨乃, Nakasone Rino, born June 11, 1979) is a talented Japanese dancer, choreographer, and actor. She is well-known for her amazing dance moves and for creating dances for many famous music groups. Rino was part of a dance crew called Beat Freaks. They became very popular when they competed on the TV show America's Best Dance Crew, finishing in second place.
Rino has worked a lot in South Korea and Japan. She has created dances for popular K-pop groups like Shinee, Girls' Generation, TVXQ, f(x), and Red Velvet. She has also choreographed for Japanese groups such as SMAP.

Rino's Early Life and Dance Journey
Rino Nakasone was born in Naha, the capital city of Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, on June 11, 1979. She loved watching music videos by Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson. She would try to copy their dance moves, which sparked her interest in dancing.
When she was 19 years old, Rino moved to Los Angeles, USA, to study dance. Soon after her visa was about to expire, she got a big break. She was hired as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson herself!
Dancing with Pop Stars
In 2004, Britney Spears chose Rino to be a backup dancer for her "Onyx Hotel Tour." After touring with Britney, Rino joined Gwen Stefani's tour. She was one of the "Music" members of the Harajuku Girls, and people praised her dance performances.
Rino also danced for other famous musicians, including Justin Bieber. She taught dance classes at different performing arts centers too. In 2009, she joined an all-female dance group called Beat Freaks. They competed on America's Best Dance Crew and were the runners-up.
Becoming a Choreographer
Rino started creating dances in 2008. Her first choreography was for the South Korean boy band Shinee's first song, "Replay." In 2009, she worked with the dance team at SM Entertainment. This is a big music company in South Korea. Together, they created the dance for Girls' Generation's hit song, "Genie."
She has choreographed for many other SM Entertainment artists, like Super Junior and BoA. She also worked with Japanese groups such as AKB48 and SMAP. Rino has even directed concerts for artists like BoA, Girls' Generation, Shinee, Taemin, SuperM, and NCT 127.
In 2010, Rino appeared in a dance show called "Siren Assassins" as Queen Jade. That same year, she joined The Pussycat Dolls music group. She also performed in two musicals in Japan in 2015, The Wiz and Asterisk.

Rino's Personal Life
Rino Nakasone married LeeJ Razalan in 2007. LeeJ was also a dancer and managed the Beat Freaks group. In 2012, Rino shared that she and LeeJ decided to separate. They remained friends and saw their five years of marriage as a "special learning experience."
