The Rivière à la Chasse (which means 'Hunting River' in English) is a river in Quebec, Canada. It flows through the town of Baie-Comeau and eventually empties into the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
This river is important for the area. It flows through forests and near roads, including Route 138. One of the main activities in this river valley is forestry, which means cutting down trees for wood.
During winter, the river usually freezes over from early December to late March. However, it's generally safe to walk or travel on the ice from mid-December to mid-March.
