The Story of Roann

One idea is that the town was named after a city in France called Roanne, France.
Another story is a legend about a father. He supposedly saw his daughter, Ann, in a boat that was in a dangerous river current. He shouted, "Row, Ann!" to warn her. This legend suggests the town's name came from that moment.
