Exploring Rockbridge's Location
Rockbridge is found in the southeastern part of Greene County. A main road, Illinois Route 267, runs right by the village. This road can take you about 5 miles north to Greenfield. If you head south for about 8 miles, you'll reach Medora.
The county seat, Carrollton, is about 13 miles northwest. You can get there by taking Route 267 and then Route 108. Rockbridge covers a total area of about 0.74 square miles (1.91 square kilometers), and all of it is land.
